BULGARIAN COURSES
Prepare. Practise. Use.
THE EDNO LEARNING CYCLE
From first exposure to confident use
HOW LEARNING WORKS AT EDNO SCHOOL
Each part of the learning process has a clear purpose.
Our methodology is designed to help you arrive in class familiar with new material, use it actively with your teacher and group, and then strengthen it through further practice and real-life connection.
WHY REPETITION MATTERS
Recognition is the beginning. Confident communication requires repeated recall and meaningful use.
Events, culture, authentic practice and human connection that extend learning beyond the classroom.

FIND THE RIGHT LEARNING PATH
A short online consultation can help us understand what you need and recommend the most suitable next step.

Bulgarian language and culture, taught with structure and warmth.
Find a clear starting point for your Bulgarian.
Learning Bulgarian requires more than attending lessons. Real progress develops through a combination of structured preparation, meaningful classroom interaction and regular opportunities to meet, recall and use the language again.
Every Edno School course is designed around this complete learning process. You first become familiar with new material independently, then activate and master it during live classes, and finally strengthen it through further practice and real connection.
Come prepared.
Use live class time to retrieve, combine and apply the language instead of only hearing about it for the first time
Live classes
Master the material through speaking, feedback and creative use.
Beyond class
Strengthen learning through daily practice and Edno Community.
The digital learning platform introduces the key vocabulary, grammar and communication skills you will need in your next lesson. Explore the material at your own pace, listen again, review examples and complete guided activities.
Arrive familiar and ready to work.
Your teacher helps you retrieve, combine and use what you have prepared. You speak, listen, ask questions, receive feedback, solve problems and use Bulgarian in increasingly natural and creative ways.
Use the language, not just talk about it
Edno Community adds authentic practice, cultural context and human connection through events, activities, trips and additional opportunities to use Bulgarian in new situations.
Practise, connect and belong.
Our courses follow clear learning pathways and use carefully designed materials created around the real needs of Bulgarian learners.
Each programme combines structured language development with practical communication, cultural context and opportunities for independent study. Our digital and printed resources help learners prepare, revise and practise at their own pace, while maintaining a clear connection with their classroom learning.
We believe that the most valuable part of live teaching is not simply receiving information. It is having the opportunity to practise, ask questions, receive guidance and use Bulgarian through purposeful interaction.
Our teachers create structured and engaging lessons in which learners actively develop their speaking and comprehension skills. Classroom time is used to build confidence, clarify difficulties and help learners turn knowledge into language they can use naturally and independently.
Language develops through connection. Edno Community extends learning beyond the course through cultural activities, events, trips and additional opportunities to meet others and practise Bulgarian.
These experiences allow learners to use the language in more authentic contexts, discover more about Bulgaria and connect with people who are going through a similar journey. The community provides additional practice and something equally important: support, shared experiences and a sense of belonging.
For more than a decade, Edno School has been researching the real needs of Bulgarian learners and studying the challenges they experience at different stages of their progress.
During this time, we have collected learner feedback and learning data, identified recurring difficulties, and continuously developed, tested and improved our own methodology for teaching Bulgarian as a foreign language.
Our programmes and materials are therefore not static. They continue to evolve as we learn more about our students, their goals and the ways in which they use Bulgarian in real life.
